Jóia do Palácio
About This Spot
Stepping into Jóia do Palácio, you immediately sense the easygoing rhythm of a neighborhood gem where the hum of quiet conversation blends with the soft clatter of plates and chopsticks. It’s the kind of place where the warmth doesn’t come solely from the lighting, but from the genuine smiles and attentive gestures of the staff who make every visitor feel gracefully welcomed.
The pace here invites you to slow down and savor the moment — whether you’re seated with friends or exploring Lisbon solo. There’s a casual openness, where coming back for seconds isn’t just expected but part of the experience, encouraging a gentle exploration of flavors rather than a rushed meal.
At its heart, Jóia do Palácio offers a vibrant yet approachable take on Asian cuisine. The buffet-style setup becomes a journey through delicate sushi rolls, crunchy fried morsels, and richly spiced Chinese specialties, each dish inviting you to try just a bite and then another. This shared way of dining makes it easy to discover new favorites without pressure or pretense, accompanied by the comforting familiarity of a well-made soup or the playful freshness of seasonal fruits.
There’s an understated generosity here — reflected both in the portions and in the spirit of the service. The team’s warmth is not just a backdrop but a defining feature, creating a relaxed atmosphere that turns a simple meal into something quietly memorable. It’s a place where budget-conscious travelers and local regulars alike find value without sacrificing the quality or the pleasure of a well-rounded meal.
For those wandering through Lisbon’s lively streets, Jóia do Palácio feels like an inviting pause — a spot where curiosity and comfort meet over shared plates and easy conversation.

It’s 12€ for all you can eat… as a solo traveler this place is PERFECT. The quality is much better than I imagined and the staff is very nice. A glass of wine is 2€ and they are very generous with their pours. If you’re on a budget, this is the perfect place for you.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Joia do Palacio in Lisbon! The food was impeccable, every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. And the price? Simply unbelievable! A full dinner for just €12.50, an absolute steal for the quality you get. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Lisbon!

I found this Chinese sushi restaurant by accident during my visa application in Lisbon. I found it only 10 minutes of walking from my location and I went here by walking follow what Google maps told me. It is an all-you-can-eat restaurant where you can eat and come back as many times you want. Please, be wise. It is better to take less food and come back instead of having leftovers food. It is not good for the environment. The sushi somehow is too big. I almost never touched the sushi section. I am more to rhe fruits and Chinese food section. The dumplings are good. The fruits are fresh and delicious. The price is inexpensive for a buffet restaurant. The drink is not included but the price for coke is still reasonable. The restroom is free. They accept payment in cash or multibanco. The lady gives us a small accessories after the payment. It is a sweet gesture of her.

This place is awesome. Very good food, it's well cooked and with good variety to choose on the buffet. Staff is above average listening to your needs.

A great buffet for an affordable price! There are many food options (noodles, sushi, shrimp, fried rice…). There are vegetarian options too!! The staff is so nice and the owner is so sweet!! She is very patient and explains the ingredients of the prepared food!! She even gifted us cute little earrings!!
